MemphiS Group Exhibition

Two panel exhibition about Memphis Group, a 1980's design collective that created colorful, expressive, and radical pieces that challenged the notion of "good design." The exhibition is designed to fit a 10' x 10' space in the hallway of Drexel University's URBN Center.

Since Memphis Group primarily created furniture and household objects, the exhibition is designed to feel like an interior space. The cabinet drawer in the first panel invites viewers to open it to read about Ettore Sottsass, the founder of Memphis.
